WN28 Benieres Sur Mer Map 1512OT
Most of the positions here were connected by a wood panelled trench, none of course remains today. The 75mm gun was placed in the open and had no protection. It was possibly a late addition to the defence of WN28. It was manned by the 5th Company of the 736th Regiment.
