Castel Vendon never got its Fire Control Post, but did have observation posts to both the East and West. Landermer was also a resistance point protecting the route from Cherbourg. The original entrance to the underground passages was through the bunker in the car park. The only way in now is through either of the casemates and great care needs to be taken, once you find them. There are several rooms underground and outside further down the car park is a SK building that looks as if it might have been used as a barracks.
